Since childhood, I have been fascinated by stories. In my pursuit of an understanding of the “human story”, I have studied psychology, Waldorf education and therapeutic education, Psychosynthesis, Anthroposophic psychology, and trauma studies. I believe in the individual human spirit and in the power of community, and have been involved in Therapeutic Community work including the foundation of  a therapeutic community in Pennsylvania.

Activism in the area of the Holocaust and genocide studies, refugee resettlement, and the transformation of conflict and the bridging of divides between communities has occupied me as well. Health means balance: head, heart, and hands. I am a student of puppetry and am completing a certificate in Bibliotherapy- an art therapy using literature for healing.
